Worst Names Ever: Donovan continues his research at Fort David (10-11-2402)

The Mercenary scientists were happy to see that Donovan had been taking their advice to heart and working on more unique projects.   So far, his “juiceboxes” the Energy Core supplements had been coming well, reaching only a few snags up until this point, but his research into this form of ethereal technology had also led him to conceptualise the basis for another project, one which he refered to as his “uberiser” project.  Despite his technical aptitude, the scientists had to admit that Donovan was very bad at naming things, a fact that amused them to no end.

As Donovan got back to his creation of his Juiceboxes, he decided to implement what he had been thinking about for days.  Powering up his form now, he summoned an ethereal circuit board and locked it into place, devise a number of pathways before assigning each of his smaller juiceboxes to a single node to generate an induction pull towards the fire gambit which he put at the end of the circuit.  Donovan would rig it in such a way that each node was triggered by a switch and was programmed in such a way that only one node would provide energy to the gambit at a time, allowing him to combine the total amount of energy stored in each node towards making a perpetual energy generator.  Realistically, Donovan understood that this was not yet possible due to the degradation of even his Code Locked nodes and gambits, forcing the young Engineer to create a maintenance gambit to help with the shelf-life of his massive juicebox array.  Once this was done, Donovan went over some final diagnostics before he called it quits and went onto a related project.

Creating four 100 system point gambits, Donovan summoned yet another ethereal circuit board and connected them all to a single output gambit used to test the ‘control’ of the entire mechanism.  Once this was done, he would then use each gambit in sequence to boost the total ‘control’ of the final gambit.  Powering up his Omega Drive, he then did the necessary calculations, working out the final values for the number of gambits and the output of each gambit required to truly boost his total control.  Once this was done, he summoned the Gambits onto himself and began to accumulate his energy.  As he charged his energies to maximum, he realised that these ‘uberisers’ did increase his Maximum Controllable Energy, though not by as much as he had originally calculated.  What he did realise however was that his energy was actually outputted with more force than was usual for someone his level.  Donovan raised an eyebrow as he realised the applications of this technology, noting that he could now damage structures which his energy would usually lack the ‘force’ to even affect.  Donovan would summon the energy he had left, utilising a modified version of his Omega Blitz to lock everything that he had done, preparing it for his presentation to the head researchers at Fort David.

Outcome: Donovan now has a working prototype for both his ‘juicebox’ and his ‘uberiser’
