Operation Quiet Storm: Jubei proactively seeks to deal with attack in Dubai (04-02-2403)

By now Deacon had gotten rather accustomed to Jubei’s at times outlandish requests, and no longer bothered to even question the albeit liberal, but strangely effective Knight.  This time, he had managed to secure the times of prominent members of both the English and French defence forces, in the form of a video conference between these parties and the Xelot Knights.  Of course, Deacon being the more respected operative acted as the figure head for the communication, but as usual, Jubei was the one who gave the impassioned speech.

“First of all, greetings and many thanks to all of you who could make the time to grant these humble Knights an audience.”  Jubei started eloquently.  “I have called for this conference to discuss the recent happenings in Dubai and the potential for such situations to spill over onto our shores.  I am sure that I do not need to remind you of the strain that these constant Haiman-sa attacks have put on the defense forces of both of your countries, but I ask you to consider how thinly your forces would be stretched if attacks such as those in Dubai were to occur in either England or France.”  Jubei reasoned.  “The Knights of the Xelots have made such considerations, and we do not wish to see such things happen, and as a result we are requesting a collaboration between the French, the English and the Xelots.”  He proposed before he went on to remind them how close a relationship these countries have had with the Xelot Council before.

“I have prepared a dossier of the information possessed by the Xelot Council which I would be willing to share with your leaders as long as you would be willing to do the same with us.”  Jubei explained, leaving the proposal open for them to think about.  “I have also contacted a computer specialist that we have worked with in the past to assist us in getting to the bottom of the mystery of who is behind these attacks.  We will be running intensive searches as well as background checks on a number of potential suspects, checking emails, browser histories and a number of other parameters in an attempt to track the responsible properties.”  Jubei explained to show them that the Xelots would not simply be freeloading off of their information.  “Also, we have arranged for a spy to be sent into the den of lions, so to speak, but the details of this operation is rather classified, and upon your approval, we will also be willing to send you the details of this operation over a secure channel.”  Jubei explained, drawing faint nods from his onlookers.  “So I will leave you to think about our proposal, but we await your speedy replies.”  Jubei prompted as he took his seat once again, allowing Deacon to close and the French and English representatives to think over his statements.  They would not need to ponder it long however, as Jubei’s comprehensive plan seemed worthy of them signing onboard.  Jubei would be pleased to have so speedily gotten things off the ground.

Outcome: The Xelots have employed the assistance of England and France in this battle against the anti-channeler terrorists, and have also put their own measures in place to get to the bottom of the situation.
