Sales Pitch: Alyssa and Thales try to recruit Eliz and Cheriz Khan (18-02-2403)

On this day, Alyssa let the small party of Demai representatives to the floating home of the Terran prize fighters Eliz and Cheriz Khan, more commonly known as Yin and Yang.  Yin, Eliz, would be the first of the two to notice the incoming Archel as the channeler duo approached the impressive yacht of her and her sister.  Despite network channelers having fallen on relatively hard times, it seemed that these two were doing quite well.  From just the size of the vehicle, Alyssa estimated that it had to at least be Heavy Assault class, though the limited scanning capabilities of the Archel was unable to pick up whether or not it was actually equipped with weapons or if it was just a luxury craft.

Regardless, the two would request to dock their Archel so that they would converse with the two channelers.  Primarily out of curiousity, Cheriz (Yang) would allow the vehicle to dock, alerting her sister to their company before she proceeded to the docking bay of the yacht to meet their guests.  As Alyssa and Thales exited the craft now, Cheriz tried to see if she could place their faces, being unable to do so before she finally asked a question.

“Good morning.”  She greeted them pleasantly.  “May I ask what you’re doing here?” Instantly, her accent was visible, betraying her East Asian roots as he physical appearance suggested that she was of Indian decent.

“I am Alyssa Blake and this is Thales Aiden, we’ve come to have a talk with you and your sister.”  Alyssa sounded, moving forward to present her with a bouquet of flowers that she had brought for just this occasion.  By now, Eliza had arrived in the docking bay, noticing the flowers and raising an eyebrow slightly.

“Do we have an admirer Cheriz?”  She inquired as she scanned to two females up and down.

“I’m not sure.”  Eliz replied, turning her gaze back to Alyssa now, who just smiled.

“I guess you could say that, they are in recognition of your fighting skills and your many victories in the past.”  She explained, causing the two to laugh lightly.  “I am actually a member of the Order of Demai, and I’ve come to extend an invitation to you on behalf of the faction.”  She continued now, peaking their interests.  “The Order knows that since the fusion, the freedoms which things like wealth, fame and power brought are no longer as abundant, with the more powerful clans holding so much sway on the global stage.  But through the Order, Israel has established itself as an independent Terran state, allowing the Order and its allies to continue to amass wealth through trading.  If you join us, we can assist you in regaining your economic status while developing your ethereal power.”

“That’s quite the offer...”  Eliz started.

“But as you can see, we’re rather well off.”  Cheriz added.

“These powerful clans that you’re talking about don’t worry their heads too much these open waters, and with the destruction of Italy leaving most of the land for miles uninhabitable, we don’t have to worry about this scourge the Oyans call the Haiman-sa.”  Eliz took over, causing Cheriz to smirk.

“Our biggest problems are the occasional hungry creatures, but between the boat’s defences and our personal abilities, we’ve been getting on quite well.”  Cheriz added now, causing Alyssa to nod.

“The order also has other assests however, superior man power, research and development teams and access to a wealth of information that others simply would not be privy to.”  She pitched further, drawing mild disinterest from the two channelers.

“Your offer doesn’t sound bad honestly, but I don’t think that you’ve convinced us that joining this faction of yours is really that beneficial to us...”  Eliz explained their reluctance now.  “But we’ll think about it...”  She paused, causing Alyssa to reluctantly accept their unrevealing reply, she could be certain that she didn’t do enough... she would need to go back to the drawing board and make her offer more attractive if she wanted these two wealth channelers to really take their orders seriously.
