Simple Upgrades: Jais does some lab work (22-02-2403)

As Jais and his new subordinate Thomas Gates made their way into the the Research and Development Section of Tel Aviv, they were directed towards the small workspace that had been set up for them so that they could do the requested repairs to the Tekera unit, Sarah.  Since Jais wanted to get in a bit of technical work for himself, and also wished for Thomas to put his  new form to use, he had request to have one of the R and D team work with him to help him iron out the problems associated with the process, but who would still leave the brunt of the work to him and his aspiring ‘techy’ subordinate.

As the two made it into the room, they set Sarah on the small table and powered her down, disconnecting most of her major systems before they went to work with her redesigned.  Jais would be the one dealing with this primarily, using his advanced matter control to construct her avian body, after the snowy-owl body design that he had conceptualised in his mind.  Once her body was fully constructed, he would then move onto reequipping her armaments in their new locations so that they would better fit her new body design.  This would be a far more technical process as it required the resizing and reshaping of some of the technology, a task which fell mostly on the resident scientist as Thomas’ technical capacity was far too low to actually allow him to make such complex changes on his own.  The young Unique would watch closely however and assist where possible so that he could one day perform these techniques solo.  The rest of the process would simply be a matter of putting Sarah back together and testing her system, then working out the bugs one by one.  This would take a couple of hours, but once done, Jayce would be allowed to move onto other things, utilising the faction’s massive database to do some research on his upcoming missions.
