Yassie Is Awesome: Yasmin analyses Suzaku Data (11-03-2403)
The young Rogue Phalanx was determined now to figure out the data which she had collected from Suzaku and use it in the creation of some kind of attunement to allow her and possibly her allies to enter poisonous areas such as the venom stream. Regardless of these great expectations however, this didn’t make the task any easiest when she first sat down and began to sift through the mountains of files which the Rogues had on the four New Gaian Demi-gods. From what she could gather, all the information seemed to point to all four demi-gods being created by races from this mysterious third earth, and eventually coming over to either Oya during specific events or New Gaia in the True World War.
Oddly enough however, some research actually pointed to some of the entities actually having been created by Oyan races, like the conflicting reports on Byakko which suggested that he was created by an arcane race, but also that he was created by the Malaikin clan. This puzzled Yasmin greatly, but for now she would put that out of her mind as she tried to focus on Suzaku specifically. Like the others, she would learn that Suzaku had been designed as a security measure to protect its creators from potential invaders or any other dangers that would threaten their clan. This original function seemed to be the reason for all of the creature’s offensive abilities and the entity’s extremely high power outputs which allowed it to qualify for the tier of demi-god. Oddly enough, none of the reports seemed to be able to explain why it was that Suzaku specifically stopped fulfilling its primary function and became the menace that it now is.
In fact, only Byakko’s degradation seemed to be documented, being linked to the infusion of zeta that glitched his primary programming and caused him to become the creator of the Storm Plains. Yasmin pouted now, this was not entirely helpful, just random information to her. As she left the data terminal now, she moved further into the laboratory which she could start to actually analyse the scans which she had gotten of the entity.
As her analysis commenced, she began to break down the extremely complex code into modules, linking the similar aspects of the code and separating those bits of code from the code that was different from it. Once this was done she began to categorise the information based on her limited knowledge, separating it into offensive, defensive, tactical and control data as she tried to piece the entity back together mentally. This was obviously a chore, even for the technically inclined channeler as the demi-god’s code was simply too complex for her to really break down any further without running the risk of actually breaking the data.
For this reason she would request Tyler’s assistance, utilising her Captain’s Code Vision in an attempt to further understand the code. Tyler was glad to get away from the training program that her subordinate Paco Stryfe had been subjected them to over the past week, and was glad to now get her own hands on the data of what could possibly become one of her most powerful Carbon Copies. As she began to scan Yasmin’s data, she began to further compile the techniques of the entity, now assisting Yasmin in separating them into the equivalent categories for Permenant Attributes, Activation Techniques, Ability Modifiers and Special Abilities. As they did this, the sheer number of abilities on this entity was staggering, and the expert integration of the techniques only served to make it harder to decipher the code. This forced the two to resort to a bit of experimentation and trial and error as they both used their own variants of copies to actually attempt to activate the code and see what it did.
This allowed them to get the general gist of how Suzaku’s flames and poisons functioned, but even with this knowledge, they were still rather far away from actually being able to do much with the data outside of just copying it and summoning a powered down version of Suzaku. The two would now get Roun in on the project, putting his massive technical, which had finally surpassed Tyler’s to work and utilising his Code Savant to further break down pieces of the puzzle. This pushed them ever close as he actually started to pick out pieces of code and identify their specific function to shed some more light on the massive picture that was set out before them. With his myriad of coding skills and his ability to actually understand Code on a basic level, Roun would be of great assistance, but even the Code Savant would reach his limit as he attempted to break down the code of entities with probably five times his technical level. This would force all three channelers to power up their Omega Drives and tackle the problem from different angles. Roun would deal purely in the Code, while Tyler focused more on the information which they had already acquired. Yasmin would simply try to perfect her scans and give herself a more intimate knowledge of what she had collected. They would all work rather quickly as the slowly chipped away at the huge boulder of information and sculpted Suzaku’s form from it.
As their Omega Drives dwindled they each finished their personal task and once again compiled the information on the summon into one massive cohesive topic. Once this would done, they would store a copy on the Rogues’ Server and Yasmin would send a copy to Amanda Real for her to look over in the hopes that she would be able to spot something that they had missed. They would leave the head of Research and Development with the rest of the info to see if they could make any headway as well.
Outcome: Between Yasmin, Tyler and Roun, they have managed to decode a great deal of the Suzaku data and are able to apply basic versions of the effects which Suzaku possesses in the three different ways. They are still uncertain however of the effects of Suzaku’s ‘blessing’ and they will need a sample from the Venom Stream if they are to formulate a way use Suzaku’s data to counter its effects.
