Limits of Cooperation: Jubei has meeting with France and England (13-03-2403)

Even with his previous track record and the reputation of the Xelots backing him, the French and English governments were still not buying into the idea of lowering their shields to allow the Xelots to make scans and get the photographs that they wanted so that do their mission.  Unfortunately, this time the stakes simplye didn’t seem high enough to warrant them taking such extreme measures, especially as Crydus had already demonstrated that some simple foot work and personal reconnaissance was enough in most cases to get the Xelots the information that they would need to complete their mission.

Jubei would not be pleased with this at all as he thought that it would slow down the rate at which the Xelots could get to the bottom of the problems in France and England, but there was little that he would be able to do at this point.  It seems that the faction would be forced to do things the old Fashion way.  As Jubei contacted the hacker with which he had become familiar with, he made the request of the information which he had asked the hacker to look into previously.  Jubei would learn that this information was already in the possession of the Xelots but was currently being withheld to allow the field team to focus on the missions which they already had.  Jubei would then request that the hacker attempt to look into gaining information on the facilities which they were planning on investigating and hoped that the hacker would be able to give him something useful over time.

Feeling somewhat unaccomplished, Jubei called it a day.

Outcome: The English and French Governments have denied the request to lower their shields to facilitate the Xelot scans and the Hacker is now attempting to acquire useful information on the facilities.
