Piecing The Puzzle Together: Yasmin and Tyler do some lab work (24/07/2403)

In their last attempt, Roun, Tyler and Yasmin had managed to unravel some of the secrets of Suzaku’s flames, with each of the Rogue ‘technies’ gaining the ability to utilise Suzaku’s unique abilities through their form.  With this current session, the Tyler and Yasmin would be trying to apply what they had learned from Suzaku to the Venom Stream itself.  For this exercise, Yasmin would assume her Mystique form to facilitate her scanning and analytical abilities, while Tyler simply maxed out her natural scanning and analytical abilities as they began to run tests on the sample.

As was reported, the ethereal sample from the venom stream was the literal embodiment of poison.   The sample was poisonous on all levels, at a material level it possessed a number of the most deadly toxins known to man, while it’s Ki based attributed embraced the principle of system corruption and its magical attributes manifested as a conceptual systemic decay.  This made for an extremely dangerous energy altogether, and one which they could barely hope to harvest far more overcome with their current technology.

With this in mind, they now turned their attention to combining their data, cross referencing the two sets of data to see if they could somehow derive a way to counter the effects of the Venom Stream from Suzaku’s data.  The two would work tirelessly on this project, being forced to utilised all of their Drives as well as their Drive Gears as they tried to get to the bottom of the whole thing.  Even with them pushing their abilities to the maximum, they would still require the help of the advanced equipment and the superior technical knowledge of the Rogue research and development team as they began to piece the puzzle together.  It would take most of the day and the better part of their stamina before they came to a conclusion.  It was no conventional ‘blessing’, but the team did seem able to devise a counter to the effects of the venom stream.  The two members of the field team would leave the rest to the R&D Team, leaving them to design a system that could implement their findings.

Outcome: The Rogues have devised a way to fight poison with poison, utilising a combination of Suzaku’s flames, ethereal poison, reversion to egg form and his re-emergence in a fully rejuvenated form to theorise a counter for the poison, corruption and decay inflicted by the Venom Stream sample.  Rogue R&D is currently seeking ideas on how to implement the technology.
