Ambition: Dax attempts to build a Clone.

Today’s task would be simple at first glance, but would prove to be slightly more difficult than envisioned for the technically inclined channeler.  Dax would start out by combining his abilities to create a perfect replica of a human body.  This task would take some time, especially given Dax limited channelling abilities, but he would eventually come up with a construct that resembled what he needed closely enough.  Once this was complete, he would begin retrofitting the body, first replacing the organs mounted in its torso with a matter based generator.  This in itself would require a reconfiguring of the body to now work on this energy, requiring a complete reformat of the muscle and circulator systems, not to mention the neural and nervous system.  Dax sighed with some frustration as he realised how unnecessarily technical this had become, a task that forced him to scrap the project all together.

He would quickly reabsorb the energy into himself before starting over, this time he would start with his generator, a matter-ki concoction that simulated a nuclear reactor on a low level.  Once this was done, he would then build the form around this power source.  He would fashion the containment field into the shape of the torso before going with completely mechanical frame, designing the systems in such a way that they were build to utilise the energy from the nuclear reaction, rather than attempting to retrofit a system as complex as the human body.  Once this was done, he would build a powerful processor capable of emulating the functions of the human brain and a databank with enough virtual space to store his memories.  The final touches would be purely cosmetic, adjusting the construct to be a perfect physical copy of himself.  Dax would pause  now and sigh greatly, realising that while his clone mirrored him physically, he was no clone, but more of a mechanical automaton.

At least it worked however.  Dax would do his best to make the mechanical being more human-like internally, but there would be only so much that he would do.  Now he would begin to impart his abilities onto the automaton.  Once again he would realise a huge problem.  His power source was a purely material one, so his ‘clone’ would only be able to affect the material spectrum with its abilities.  Dax growled, this was becoming a bother.  He would quickly realise that he would need to augment his nuclear reactor with a Ki based power source if he wanted his clones to possess Ki channelling abilities.  He would have to do this later he though as he made a note to himself.  Dax would now settle on imparting his knowledge into the clone as well as coding a number of his hashes into it utilising his Logic Projection, giving the clone his abilities but only with regards to the matter spectrum.

Dax would spend the next hour of so running through this clones abilities and tweaking them to match his as closely as possible.  Once he was satisfied, he would make a complete scan of the entity and log it, before he attempted to summon three more.  These would take considerably less out of him, but his stamina would still be approaching its limits.  This would force Dax to cap his form as he supervised his ‘clones’ now, guiding them into building a ‘supersonic jet’ for transport. By his calculations, a supersonic jet would constitute a Class 4 vehicle, but it would need a rather awesome power source to be able to sustain its own weight, the weight of his clones and himself and move at that speed.  This proved to be a build challenge all of its own.

Dax would spend the rest of his stamina searching for the schematics for outdated supersonic jets online, eventually managing to download a schematic and provide his clones with the information.   Even with 4 of them working on the build... it would probably take weeks.

Outcome: Dax has created 4 clones, and has embarked on the process of building a nuclear powered C4 vehicle.
