Not So Mad Science: Fyst does some research (24/09/2403)

Being back at Fort David and having access to the R&D staff and facility, Fyst would hijack a few members of the research team and put them on a project that he had been conceptualising since he was in Timeless, the Symphonica System.  These system was rather complex, with a number of ‘moving parts’, but it essentially boiled down to an extremely intuitive channelling companion system.

Fyst would start by accessing and sharing the data which he deemed necessary for the creation of such a project, drawing the attention of the development team to the information he had gathered in the Crystal Forest, Zeta Lake, the De’raks in Timeless and the data that he had garnered from Suzaku.  Once that was done, he would explain the potential to utilise the Degeneracy reactors and Monopoles to cut down the energy drain of the systems.  Once the team grasped all of this, Fyst would then start explaining the actual system.

Fyst was pleased that the R&D team actually understood his technical jargon and managed to put what was simply a concept in his mind, into an actual schematic and technical plan.  Once this was done, Fyst would assist them in the creation of this Symphonic System.  The data from the Crystal Forest would provide the base for the ethereal Resonance System, the primary device that would assist the user’s channelling abilities.  Once that was done, he would use the data that he gathered from the De’raks to create the ‘echo chamber’, facilitating the main interface between the channeler and the device.  Finally, he would use the Suzaku data to increase the length which the effects lingered.  Once this was done, he would just assist the R&D team in fine tuning and tweaking the device to work, before he used his own waved based abilities to fine tune his own personal Symphonica, optimising it for his form.

Once the basic system was determined, Fyst would get to work on augmenting his gear to create the Koe no Okami weapon set.  The Crystal Container would be fashioned into a sheath for his Club Blade and both would be modified with the Symphonic system.  The Throwing Daggers would be stored on the sheath itself to cut down on the amount of space they took up, while the Suzaku data was modified into an expansion and equipped into his Club Blade.  Another Poison based expansion would be created for his club blade, before he went on to imbue the combat knives with Symphonic systems as well.  The entire process would take some time but he would finally manage to finish, allowing the R&D teams to return to the previously designated work stations.

Outcome: Fyst has succeeded in creating the Symphonic system and his Koe no Okami weapon set.
