The Order of Demai |
| |
The Basics
This faction is a collection
of channelers, who have been
noticed for their strengths
or potential strength in the
opinion of Rayad Demar, who
oversees every single
channeler recruitment drive
and examination. This
kind of care however is not
show towards his infantry,
who are simply there to back
up his channelers.
This faction was designed to
recruit the strongest
channelers in the world, and
with them create a new
governing body of the world,
and an attempt to save it
from itself. The
faction and its members will
stop at nothing to achieve
their set goals.
History
The Order of Demai is far
older than the advent of
zeta-frames, or even exo-suit
and even dates back past the
emergence of zeta
manipulators, the
predecessors of ether
channelers, having been
predecessed by an army
formed in 2326. It was
rumored that Rayad Demar was
one of the first to gain the
ability to channel Ki,
manifesting this skill at
the same time and those like
Kyasho Mirakama and Marshack
Almed, allowing him to
exhibit incredible power
before the creation and
activation of the Thaymeign
(Zeta) Machine in 2339.
It was this power that lead
his army into and out of its
battles until it finally
stood as the singular
governing body that it is
now. The crowning
point of this faction was
the destruction and murder
of the French royal family,
in 2334, which sent the
country into a civil war.
From that moment onward, the
Demai were registered as a
delocalized government,
registered officially under
the name "The Order of
Demai" in 2338, allowing
them to wage war on
countries as they pleased
under the new global law.
As a result this faction has
made strong friends and
equally strong enemies.
Taking up base in the
middle-east, the main base
of the Order of Demai is a
small country in its own
right, where it's subsidiary
Demai Enterprises was
formed. This company
manufactures everything from
food to weapons, providing a
steady income for the Order
to fund their projects.
Objectives
This faction strives towards
the unity of a world under
their rule, an inevitable
future which they believe
will save it from itself and
hence achieve the
restoration of earth.
This however seems a bit
zealous for such a faction,
and its actions have brought
this into question on more
than one occasion.
This team is almost
garaunteed to find itself on
the opposite side of the
battle field from the Xelots.

The Council Of Xelot |
| |
Basics
This small army is not
concerned with law and order
on a small scale and tends
to leave the enforcement of
the law to the relative
authorities, however this
vigilante army has been
assembled as the resistance
against any force which
attempts to conquer
countries of the world.
This army of players follow
a code of honour, enforced
by their team leader Lord
Marshack Almed III.
History
Lord Marshack Almed III,
known to most of his charges
simply as Lord Almed, or
less commonly Lord Paladin
Almed, was once a knight to
the modern Queen of France
from 2328 A.D. to 2334 A.D.
before she was assassinated
by Rayad Demar's army.
This army was the
predecessor to what is now
know as the Order of Demai.
In an attempt to capture the
castle, the army stormed the
building and engaged Almed
and his fellow knights in
combat. Being the
strongest warrior present as
a result of his innate Ki
channeling ability, Almed
dueled Rayad Damar to a
stalemate, while the
invading army slaughtered
his army and murdered his
queen. The two
fighters, fought until their
stamina was no longer enough
to keep their damaged forms
together, reverting as the
castle burned to the ground.
When Almed came through, he
found the castle destroyed
and found that he was the
only one stationed at the
castle who had survived.
In his rage, his energy
exploded, leveling the area
where the castle now stood.
Almed, joined by a few of
the surviving knights who
were not stationed at the
castle that day, roamed the
world aimlessly for years,
hunting down Rayar Demar who
had since then disappeared.
When Demar finally
resurfaced in 2339, he had
already officially formed
the group registered as the
Order of Demai. So in
response to this Army, Almed
formed a council of his
closest friends and allies
and created his own faction,
the Xelots.
Objectives
This Army was founded in
memory of Almed's queen, in
2341, and is opposed to any
force that would rebel
against a ruling body.
They are also bent on
bringing Rayad Demar to
justice for for his crimes
against The former Queen of
France. This faction
usually finds itself working
with the Rogues. But
sometimes opposes them, and
they are always opposed to
the Demai.

The Mercenary Army |
| |
Basics
This once free lance army
for hire has now refined
itself. Under the
leadership of Maika Smerkyov
they have moved into more
covert ops. These men
and women handle the jobs
that other people are too
afraid to do them selves.
They specialize in black ops
and seek and destroy
missions although they have
been known to take a more
direct approach.
History
Before the cataclysms, Maika
Smerkyov, known to all
simply as Agent One
was the member of a small
mercenary band. His
squadron were one the most
elite forces on the planet
due to their intense
training in martial arts and
military tactics.
Before the cataclysms, he
and his team were stationed
in Europe, on the outskirts
of Europe, and set with the
task of repelling an
invading army. This
task was not easy, but then
again neither were any of
the other mission which they
were assigned. Maika
and his forces fought the
war and held off the rival
forces for two years in a
brutal stale mate, lasting
from March 11th, 2304 to May
9th, 2306. The war
continued, going in no ones
favor, with no ending sight,
until May 10th 2306, when
the cataclysms began.
In a flee for their own
lives, the soldiers left the
battle field and ended the
war on their own terms, each
team retreating away from
the area to a safe ground
where they had a higher
chance of survival.
On March 13th, 2345,
39 years
after the cataclysms, more
commonly known as known as
the day of the reload,
when the Thaymeign (Zeta)
Machine was rebooted, and
Zeta now flowed freely
everywhere in the world, a
stunning realisation hit
Maica. By this time he
had risen to the top of the
ranks, and was now leader of
his army, but this new
technology made his team
rather obsolete. Exo-suits
and players had
revolutionized the world of
combat, and as users, his
highly skilled soldiers were
no match for even a small
force of these teams.
With this revelation, Maika
realised that he would need
to trade in the weapons of
the old world, and pick up
the weapons of the new
world. Only being able
to keep on 9 other members
of his army, who like him
had gained the ability to
utilise this new energy
known as Zeta, Maika was
forced to begin the
recruitment of a new team,
while paying for the rest of
his army's retirement.
Initially lacking in direct
channeler capacity, Maika
originally utilised the
power of his Defcon DfAn -
003. Not an exo-suit,
this zeta enhancer allowed
him to channel his latent
energy into a powerful body
armour (an ability which he
at the time lacked),
allowing him to go one on
one with the more powerful
suits and emerging
channelers. Maika has
since then lost the need for
this device and has retired
the enhancer, which is now
stored in his office to
remind him of his past.
With his combat skill alone
and his unnatural physical
prowess he can hold his own
against any of the other
Perfect level channeler, and
though Maika still utilises
no coded ethereal techniques
he has come to be known as
immune to most coded
effects. With the
recruitment of Enrique
Bayman into his army in
2399, Maika adopted the
codename Agent Zero,
labeling the remaining
original members of his army
Agents 1 through 9, and
naming the relatively young
Bayman, Agent 10.
Though he is not as
personally acquainted with
his new army as with that of
his past, this has not
impeded their progress. In
16 the years in which the
army has been function, it
has established itself as
the most effective force in
black ops missions.
There is no task that they
cannot carry out....for the
right price.
Objectives
The objectives of the
faction are simple, to build
up the faction's own
strength by its members
gaining strength and money,
while and staying on Mr.
Smerkyov's good side.
This team has no usual
allies or enemies, it fights
with or against who it is
ordered to without
hesitation. This
ruthlessness is their main
advantage.

The Rogue Special Forces |
| |
Basics
The Rogues are a special
branch of the earth's
unified police force, a
special branch of officers
sanctioned by the united
nations in the light of the
required upgrade in global
security since the advent of
channelers. Unlike
most officers, the Rogues
are a Global Special Forces
Unit, though their main base
of operation is in the
Caribbean they are allowed
to stay at any police head
quarters while resting of
rejuvenating. This
special forces is over seen
by its founder, one of the
strongest persons ever to
possess data channeling
abilities, Kyasho Mirakama.
History
Kyasho was the first Ki user
to immerge from the human
race on Terra, born on the
day of the commencement of
the cataclysms in 2306.
He possessed this ability
well before the creation of
the Thaymeign (Zeta) machine
in 2339, and he was a key
factor in the creation of
this machine, which was
actually based on his
natural channeling
abilities, and has become
the centre stone of
civilization today.
After its development,
Kyasho became even more
powerful and quickly
ascended to reach the power
needed to engineer his
second (Boss) form one year
later.
In the
years after
the Zeta Machine's
reboot in 2345,
Kyasho
had been charged with the
task of maintaining the
device, and ensuring that
its functions were being
carried out. One day out of sheer boredom, Kyasho decided to carry out
some routine maintenance
checks on the Machine.
Unfortunately, since the
reboot, the room which
housed the machine had
become filled with unstable
energy, which Zeta's
A.I. adopted as a type of
defense mechanism against
intruders. When Kyasho
entered the room, he was
bombarded with pure Zeta
energy, which corrupted his
user form and expelled him
from the room, imbedding him
into the wall. When he
awoke,
he found that his
body had
been aged
over
100
years and his skill had aged
as well. It was as if,
he had lived his entire
life as
a channeler, and was then shot back
through time with his
experiences in tact...but
his memories of the future
were fuzzy, not to mention
the splitting headache which
he now found himself with.
Getting up, he cracked his
neck and calmly powered
down, manipulating the zeta
around him to revert his
user form to the way it
should have looked, that of
a forty year old man.
Its is not clear what
happened that day, but Kyasho is said to "remember"
important event which
happened the future.
Objectives
As the Rogues are simply
elite police officers, their
main goal is keeping law and
order worldwide, but they
usually only handle matters
which are directly related
to Global security or the
Zeta Machine and its
functions. The also
deal with terrorism and
invaders, though this is not
their main function.
They have a friendly
alliance with the Xelot
Council and its army, though
these teams do tend to end
up on opposing sides
occasionally.
