Giving Back: Xelots, Passive Action. (25/12/2401)

Loki could never have imagined that it would have been such a task getting approval for his project, but the fact that a number of the phases seemed to be more beneficial to his faction than his customers meant that it not only had the potential to put the Council in a bad light, but also ran a high risk of jeopardising the feasibility of the endeavour on the whole.  For this reason, a number of prices had to be dropped, and as a result expenditures had to be cut back before the final project was actually approved.

Regardless of this however, Loki still found himself sitting in the crowd as Jubei, the unofficial spokes person of the Xelot Council, got the crowd riled up before introducing his faction-mates Bobby and Crydus, the minds behind the actual opening of the Regional Engineering Academy to give their formal speech.  The facility, which served as a specialised school to nurture the minds of young Asian scientists, had been converted from one of the facilities which the Xelots had managed to capture in their last mission in the country, and served as one part of the long term plan coined Restoration: Korea.

In the background, away from public eyes, the Xelot Council had also established a facility in the Korean area, and embarked on a project which went by the codename Dues Ex Machina.  Little was known on the project outside of the faction, but it seemed to be instrumental in a number of their plans, and as must would suspect, seemed to be the catalyst for not only the school, but a new mass produced unit which the Korean government employed in their law enforcement measures.

Loki sighed lightly at the fact that his predicted profits weren’t quite as high as he would have predicted, but his teammates, and more importantly the Xelot High Council were pleased with the turn out of the projects, which not only furthered their cause, but helped to making the world a better place off of the battle field.  Cheers could be heard late into the night as the Opening Ceremony continued past it’s scheduled hours, and for once Lord Almed seemed somewhat happy with his Knights’ work.

Outcome: The Xelots have constructed a new facility to house the Deus Ex Machina and Droideka Facility, as well as founded the Regional Engineering Academy, all in Korea.
