Foul Ups, Bloops and Blunders: Rogue incompetence in Italy? (16/02/2402)

The situation in Tanami which led to the incapacitation of several rogue officers had left Hyaku more annoyed than anything else. They were expecting mafia activity to be underway in Italy and Hyaku was determined to crush the mafia at any opportunity, becoming more of a nuisance to him than anything else, a sentiment which didn’t seem to reverberate with the other Rogues. However Paco and Yasmin had reported for duty with their subordinates, Sun Leo has also afforded them his subordinates allowing for sizeable enough force in Italy, with the inclusion of Tyler’s subordinates and carrier, it seemed to be a force sizeable enough to handle whatever mafia activity would surface.
Soon enough the expected mafia activity was reported on the police hotlines, patched through to the Rogues as per their agreement to join together to crush the Sicilian drug lords. The rogues sprung up from their relaxation and quickly mobilised, boarding their respective vehicles and heading out to the designated area where it was reported that the mafia had organised a daring daylight robbery on a store as part of their extortion racket.
Two carriers, a Zeta Elixir and an Arclyte blazed across the Italian sky drawing awe from the nationals and descending outside a broker of precious gems. The police also arrived, cordoning off the area as the rogues rushed the building prepared to incarcerate any mafia who emerged. All eyebrows rose as the only person who emerged was a very stuffy looking elderly Donna and her bodyguard. The police Captain could be heard swearing for hours after it was reported that the mafia had successfully robbed a recently opened branch of a worldwide antiques dealer chain, making off with $500,000 of undisclosed, very rare antiques.
The rogues would return to their Italian base thoroughly disgraced, with the Italian media having a field day over the level of incompetence demonstrated by the faction in handling what should have been a very trivial bust.

Outcome: The mafia have successfully robbed the Elegance antiquities store in broad DAYLIGHT. They have begun extorting the owners of the store.
