Sneaky Sneaky: Serai has a chat with Dr. Mirakama (24/09/2403)

Serai had ensured to pamper the good doctor since his rescue from the mercenary band that had captured him prior to the fusion, ensuring that he felt at home and relaxed during his travel and his stay on the Garrison.  This was to ensure that he was relaxed and comfortable when Serai interrogated him.

Serai would lead the brilliant scientist to one of the meeting rooms, accompanied by the young psychic Jada, before he would begin his questions.  Serai would do his best to prevent the entire thing from being too hostile, but the fact remained that he needed to get some information out of the doctor one way or the other.  While he began to interrogate Dr. Mirakama, Jada rested her hand on the man’s shoulders, while stealthily trying to use her psychic abilities to probe his mind and memories.

Even though the scientist was not a channeler, his vast intellect was particularly formidable even for the young psychic, preventing her mental probes from reaching past his most superficial thoughts.  It would not take her long to realise that the doctor suspected something, but before she could inform her superior he cover was blow.  The doctor had figured out that she was trying to probe his mind, an act that sent him into a tirade.  He fling her hand off of his shoulder before jumping to his feet, knocking over the chair behind him, as he began to protest to this treatment.  It would not take long before security arrived in the area, ordering Serai and Jada to leave the room while the doctor remained inside.

Much to his dismay, being the only other member of the Field Team stationed on base, Hyaku would be forced to look into the matter.  It would not take him long to figure out what was going on, drawing a long sigh and a look of utter annoyance from the cold and anti-social Rogue Operative.  Hyaku would order a security team to escort Dr. Mirakama to Kyasho’s office, where the issue could be straightened out diplomatically, knowing full well that such things were not his Forte.  As he exited the room, he flashed Serai an annoyed glare, he would be certain to ensure that the unorthodox Rogue Operative was penalised for his tactless methods.
