Imprompt Learnage?: Juggerknot ambushes Davius (01-03-2403)

Once again Davius and the Juggerknot would be trying to make their way to the Arc of Hern through the unique defences of the facility... or at least so Davius thought.  The Juggerknot had another plan for the day as he reached over and engaged the autopilot switched before grabbing Davius’ forearm.

“What are you doing?”  Davius inquired now.

“I jus waan try someting...”  Juggerknot replied, causing Davius to raise an eyebrow as Juggerknot powered up to full.  Needless to say, Davius did the same, butwas still unable to stop the incoming punch from the Juggerknot that impacted his face.

Davius was extremely puzzled by the attack, but wouldn’t waste time questioning it , avoiding reversion was the first order of business.  Unfortunately, he simply did not have the strength to get out of the Juggerknot’s grip, and his partner’s unique singularity based defense tended to warp most of his dimensional manipulation techniques that would allow him to teleport away, leaving Davius with one option.  Quickly his Zanryuken would go to work as pulled the two through his side of the Dextrel MX, absorbing the impact as he delivered yet another super powered punch to Davius.  The melee would quickly turn into a slug fest as Davius and Juggerknot now pummelled each other on their way to the ground.  Some seconds before they impacted the groun, Davius’ Zanryuken and Severance would do their job and get the Juggerknot off of him, allowing Davius to engage his full stealth and vanish from his opponent’s senses as the Juggeknot impacted the ground and formed a small crater.

The massive channeler now got up with a lawless smile as he surveyed the area, knowing that from here on out the fun was over, he had no ability to pierce Davius’ stealth and of the two of them, the boss tier Cleric had higher offensive capabilities.  This was going to be fun.  Another Zanryuken blast impacted the Juggerknot, dealing minimal damage but still managing to disorient him as Davius charged up his Severance.  Having the higher precision by far, this attack actually managed to pierce the Juggerknot’s defense and deal reasonable damage to the tank, but it also served to give away Davius’ position, allowing his partner to utilise his Com’muh skill to force grip him and pull Davius.  Davius’ eyes widened at this, but he would have enough time to teleport away before the Juggerknot could get his hands on him.  The Juggerknot now powered up his Making Me Angry technique and rapidly charged his energies as he waited for Davius’ next attack.

Once again, Davius’ severance would impact the Juggerknot, but this time it would deal less damage and Juggerknot’s force pull would once again come off, this time allowing the Juggerknot to dash foward with his temporally enhanced speed to barely get a grip on his opponent, but this was all that he needed.  Once again he went to work on Davius, quickly shattering his barriers before turning his massive force against the channeler, disorienting him with each strike as Davius utilised his limited list of still effective techniques to once again stun the Juggerknot to the point that he could break the grip.  This time however, the Juggerknot was having none of it.  Davius would quickly find himself lifted off the ground and piledriven into the earth beneath them, stunning the Cleric as Juggerknot took him up once more and choke-slammed him into the ground, forcing the Cleric into his Omega Drive.

As he did so his energies expanded to blast the Juggerknot away, easily breaking his grip and sending his opponent skating through the irradiated wasteland of Haiman.  The Juggerknot could tell now that his partner was actually starting to get rather upset, so to avoid this friendly ambush turning into a heated fued, he decided to call the attack off, figuring that he had gotten enough training in.

“Aoight, I done.”  He laughed loudly now, much to Davius’ confusion.

“What do you mean you’re done!?” Davius exclaimed as his form now registered him with critically low health.

“I just wanted to try out the new form.”  Juggz smirked as he walked up to Davius, who stepped back just in case.  All his teammate could do was laugh as he planted his feet and jumped back up to the Detrel that was now hovering above them in autopilot.

Davius could just curse lightly as he took to the sky himself, making his way back to the safety of the light assault vehicle with the menace that had just attacked him.
